I’m Gabriela (Gab) Bagrichevsky Callado (I sign as Gabvsky for some artistic projects), a Brazilian visual artist and filmmaker based in California. I hold a BA in Social Communication with an emphasis in Film and am currently pursuing an MA in Film & Media Studies.

My work explores disability, visual culture, and representation through cinema, photography, and archival practices. I’ve directed and collaborated on short and feature-length projects, combining academic research with experimental and poetic forms.

On a film set, I've worked as a DP, camera assistant, photographer, still photographer, and in making-of roles. Besides knowing how to operate a cinema camera and manage editing software, I am currently expanding my knowledge in product design, learning about web accessibility, practicing my color grading skills, and developing my screenwriting skills. I am also doing research as a part of my master’s degree practices.
