“Assexybilidade” (or “Assexybility”) is a Brazilian documentary directed by Daniel Gonçalves that explores the often-taboo topic of sexuality among disabled and queer individuals. Challenging ableist stereotypes, the film highlights real stories of dating, desire, and relationships, promoting disability justice and sexual health.
The film later gained North American distribution through Breaking Glass Pictures and received awards for its joyful, inspiring, and norm-challenging portrayal of disabled people as sexual beings.
